Questions of freedom and people’s emancipation

Words like ‘Freedom’, ‘people’s emancipation’ remain relevant, irrespective of change in time or place. History teaches us so; to whatever extent the present may shout that such words are ‘idle romanticism’ or ‘impractical’, these words continue to live their own lives, in every layer of human consciousness.
“Do not seek truth by means of man; find first the truth and then you will recognise those who follow it” – so said Al Ghazzali, whose words Kobad Ghandy has borrowed. Across time, Kobad retrospects on the eternal search for freedom and the seekers of freedom. On the weaknesses that continue to exist. How can this crisis be solved ? It is through the search for truth and establishment and direction of such truth towards actual freedom and the struggle for people’s emancipation.
